Fisto glitch?--or how I learned to stop worrying and love the sexbot.

After I've recruited Fisto to the Atomic Wrangler for James (I mean, not for James...yeah, someone else...that's it), he's roaming the casino area. I check in with him because I'm genuinely curious as to how lucrative the sexbot career thing is going and not to seek kinky robot sex, and say "maybe later" when Fisto offers his services. Then I'm awarded 10 caps. Confused. I checked in with him again. 10 caps. Try again. 10 caps. And so forth. I played NV heavily on console and didn't have this result, so I'm curious as to whether anyone else has had this experience.

Yeah it's a known bug. You can get the NV's equivalent of USKP to fix it;

I'm far too lazy for a patch but am more comfortable knowing it's universal. I suppose instead, and keeping with good karma, I'll just find a way to give him back his caps. Science!

I bet its because Fisto is unhappy in its role as a sexual slave and will pass on currency in lieu of enforced sexual acts on your person.

Hmm...if he's unhappy and therefore can display human-like emotions, I'd have expected him to escape en route to the Atomic Wrangler and begin a torrid love affair with ED-E. Maybe he was so distraught by my desire to test his abilities inside Cerulean Robotics that, defeated, he accepted his position. Literally. It would alternately explain the quest title ED-E My Love, disregarding the actual homage to oldies song "Eddie My Love."
