On a brighter note, good for you. I personally do like to not use fast travel although getting pounched by Legionary Assassins gets routine.
Not directed at you. If it did, then I do apologise. We do get "fast travel ruin gaem" every now and then although it happens more in that other Betty game forum.
One alternative is using vehicles. There are mods for cars and bikes and can be limited by needing fuel, but then you run into the problem of getting around the map too fast. Running critters over is fun though!
Perhaps the best alternative is use a bit of role play. Maybe only use fast travel if you're carrying a small amount of equipment or something like that.
I normally don't fast travel in other game but the FO series plants are hard to spot except for a few. It is on my return trips that I collect such things.
I know there's one like that for Oblivion, so it stands to reason that there's one for FNV, either that, or just make your own set of rules/restrictions and stick to them
Uh, pretty sure that's what the vanilla game does.
LOL, DERP, been a while since I played it, I keep starting it up, but my current character is in the Honest Hearts DLC and that's my least favorite of the bunch, maybe I'll just start over and skip that one
