Radio Station Bugs?
I like to use the Mysterious Broadcast that you get from the Old World Blues DLC to keep me from dying of boredom in Dead Money.

For some reason, it only plays a few songs before just turning dead silent...I've also noticed this with the other radio stations in the normal game. If Johnny Guitar starts to play on Radio New Vegas and I switch to Mojave Music Radio, then switch back to Radio New Vegas later, it picks right up from where I left off on Johnny Guitar.

Do radio stations play continuously when you don't listen to them or do they pause and wait for you to listen to them again? I played over 500 hours of this game on Xbox and never had this problem. Just picked this up for PC and this is just..wow. I'd appreciate any help on this issue.

I think they pause. And it make sence really, It takes more power to track what song you are on in all stations and update that constantly than it does to just remember the song.

The Mysterious Broadcast is bugged (or rather, the game engine is bugged, resulting in the broadcast not working as intended.)

There's a fix for it here.[www.nexusmods.com]

As far as I know, radio stations will continue to play the song you left them on and will stop when that song is finished. It will continue from the next one when you switch back to the radio station or encounter a radio somewhere that plays that station. Ever notice how, when you switch to New Vegas Radio, for instance, it always begins with Mr. New Vegas talking?
