Power Armor Training???

Im new here at Fallout and basically have no idea whats going on sooo,
I got the key for the Brotherhood of steel safehouse and in there are some power armors and weapons, and only then I realized I needed power armor training and I have no idea what that is so can you guys help me out?

How did you get the key without doing the BOS questline?

To get Power Armor training go to Hidden Valley, east of Quarry Junction and do the Brotherhood of Steel Quests. It's best to take Veronica with you the first playthrough as it makes it much easier to gain access to their bunker and start the quests. Veronica is standing on the 188 trading post bridge [just north of Novac] wearing monks robes. Take her as a companion.

The Power Armor training is a reward for helping the BOS, as is the key to their safehouse.

I still haven't finished "Eyesight to the blind" quest though.
Do I need to finish it first?

NO. You can come back to it later. You can have many quests available at the same time and just click on the one you want to do first. There are a few quests that will make you hated by the BOS, so I suggest doing the BOS quests soon. They take quite awhile to finish, plus there are a few for Veronica too. Have fun .
