Game seem too short? What I should do next time?
Hello
So I am not very familiar with the game, and sorry about my bad English
Anyway I play all through, get to the last quest and finish the game, I do not realize I cannot play after finishing with that.

It seem like there would be more with game, have I miss anything important? I bought version with all DLC unlock, but I skip DLC quest because I think they might be higher than my level. I was only 15 when I finish and level up to 16 when I talk to the legion guy just before end with 100 speech options.

So beside those DLC are there many quests I should be doing I have missed on? I start one with the brotherhood, with the girl companion from their faction. When I start the main quest, I first did with Mr House but he told me to kill them so I changed to Yes Man, in case that effects me from doing any quests. I also cannot do any quest with Legion or NCR, because I did with Yes Man and I do not want to go all the way back, I will do with one of them on another character. I will just load my save from before the final quest, so I would like to know what I should do before I finish the game, so I can see more of it.

Also is Legion better with a evil character? I want to make a bad karma one since this one was positive and no one NPC seem to like Legion.

There is nothing after the Battle of Hoover Dam, you have to do everything, including DLC's, beforehand.
There are 4 different factions you can side with, so 4 different main questlines, and hundreds more side questlines.
If you are experienced with the game's combat and how things work, you should be able to do the DLC at their recommended levels, maybe even lower. Honest Hearts you can do as soon as you're out of Goodsprings, in fact.

Ok thanks but are there other quests I should do? Do you know where I can find them?
There is a side quest in just about every major city. Try doing the Steam Achievement ones, like Volare! (Nellis), Return to Sender (Camp Forlorn Hope), or Come Fly With Me (Novac).
Some of my favorite quests are the companion quests though. You can check the wiki for where every companion is located, and how to trigger their quests.
The ones on the Strip are fun as well. Beyond the Beef is one of my favorite quests in the game.

Ok thanks, I did some of those already and I will look on the others
A last question for you, what level I should be for every of the DLC?
Again, depends on how good you are at the game.
I recommend Honest Hearts at level 5-15, and after that do Dead Money. After Dead Money, Old World Blues, and lastly, Lonesome Road.

Ok thank you, with your help I will not miss out most of the game ^^

:P
You beat the game within 21 hours??? Did you just rush through the entire game or what? Lol, download the "A World of Pain" mod, it adds over 100 locations and several dozen missions.

tbh one of the things new vegas suffers from in my opinion is how no side quest are forced/ easy to start when you're doing the main quest like once you get to novac you have to start searching more and more for the other quests to do. In fallout3 and skyrim a lot of side quests are on the path your walking or talked about by npcs. so in new vegas you have to do A LOT more exploring to find stuff to do.

yeah new vegas is very short as a vanilla game, ive beaten it proabably under 20 hours just doing the main quests. But the dlcs add alot of content and locations but still seem pretty short overall, but what you want are the mods. adds alot of diff items and more faction quests and etc

I'm sorry, what? I had over 120+ hours on my first courier.
There are tons and tons of side missions and places to explore.

Yeah, my first attempt at playing the game I helped out in Novac, then wanted to explore a bit rather than carrying on with the main quest, as with FO3 I ended up going with the game's rather rushed "pacing" of the MQ, which was in character with my Wanderer but a little unsatisfying. So, I decided to wander off and get into trouble and, well, the only trouble I found was way out of my league (Deathclaws and Cazadores and so on) and I gave up. I'm trying again and hoping I can manage a bit better this time, unfortunately the only advice I can find on starting out is either based around creating the perfect character with no weaknesses (not my style) or metagaming and spoilers, which, well, also not to my taste.
1. Talk to pretty much every NPC for maximum sidequests, and a pat on the back during the ending slide show
2. DLC
3. Tale of Two Wastelands mod
4. Mods
5. Mods.
6. MODS

There are literally hundreds of quests inside the game. I have played 150 hours now and only just started on the final battle of hoover dam and I still have ALL the DLC's to play...
If you just follow strictly on the "main quest line" and do quests only for 1 side then I guess the game can be "completed" in 20-30 hours, but I would heavily advise against it, since the main quest line is only a really small portion of the game...
Also, you should play at least on the hard setting.

Yes, there are MANY quests in the game that with the DLC, you should easily hit level 50 and still have quests left to do before doing the ending.

Just when you get to the strip is when you can hold off on the main quest and explore, get to know factions and find all the hundreds of quests by talking with people.

Also don't forget that the decisions and the quests you make or don't make during your play all have effect on the ending of the game...

In the end, FO3, FNV, and Skyrim are less about the main story, and more about going places, mostly for the sake of going places. While the story is alright, it's not some kind of awesome thing.

You could never be more wrong about FNV.
