"Tend to your business" quest broken?
In this quest you must kill everyone in the Silver Rush casino, however, I have already killed them a long time before I even got this quest. Now whenever I go into the deserted casino, the quest marker sais to head right back out. Then it says to head right back in after I arrive back in Freeside. I really need some help with this one folks.

Is anyone left alive inside, maybe hiding somewhere? If not that, then perhaps go back to the Hardin and see if you have any new dialogue that finishes the quest?

Otherwise the only thing i can think of is that it is broken due to a bug, in which case you'd have to console command to finish the quest.

So open the console command "~"

then type:

setstage 001633f2 20

That should set the quest stage to when you killed the van graffs and half to talk to hardin again.

Thank you so much, this has solved the issue for me. Now I have my own Power Armor and BOS Membership. Can I ask where you found this setstatge thing? I was once in a similar prediciment for Mr.House not thinking I had destroyed the BOS a while back.

To find the codes, i just type in google "fallout new vegas console command quest stages" and it's usually between the first two search results. It's one of the fallout wiki sites that it links to, but it's got a list of all the quests and the IDs, then you can use that Id to look on the next chart further down the page and it has all the quest stages associated with that quest.

You should be aware that using the console will disable achievements for that session.
