arcade gannon has disappeard while he was me following me and he is still classed as following me and i can't do some quests. please help.

C. Waiting a week, companions go back home after a week of separation

Yes, that will make a cloned version of him, and that is a bad idea. Instead, use:

prid 10d8eb
moveto player

First line will select Arcade Gannon's reference, as if you've left-clicked on him.
Second line will move him to you.
