why are Fallout New Vegas Fanboys so annoying?

playing at specific Fallout game like 4 or 3, you'll be harassed by these Fallout New Vegas Fanboys telling you're a "♥♥♥♥ beta male". I know I am over oversaturated a little bit but still these people will LARP for HOURS and talk about how Fallout 4 and 3 are bad games and how you are Bethesda Shield. also, if you talk one NEGATIVE thing about Fallout New Vegas in a fallout new vegas subreddit, you will get bombarded by angry New Vegas fanboys.

I've been in the NV fandom, and the Fallout fandom in general for many years. Yes, annoying and toxic NV fanboys exist. But I've also seen toxic fallout 4 fans, and annoying fallout 3 fans, and fallout 3 fans toxic to modern Bethesda fans, fallout 3 fans that don't like NV, NV fans that dont like anything, Bethesda shills, Interplay shills, 76 fans that just like MMOs, fallout 1 fans that don't like fallout 2, fallout 2 fans that don't like new vegas, nv fanatics that praise 1 and 2 without even playing them, fallout 3 fanatics that saw gameplay of fallout 1 and so think 3 is closer to 1 than NV, tactics fans that only like nonsensical plots because of biblical references and voice acting. Every time it's some "toxic" response or defense. But in reality, it's not toxic, it's criticism. The only time I see someone scream "toxic" is because they spout inane stupidity and get called out for it.

You'll find toxicity and annoying fans in every corner of every forum. If you really think it's just "NV fanboys" youre either dense or unaware of your surroundings.

How many times to "NV fans" go to 4 or 76 forums and start these kinds of threads? Because what i see is usually NV fans are defending from toxic annoying behavior more than anyone else. Once a week it seems.

incredibly based, dude. sure fallout 4+76 has no story but the settlements and graphics and optimization (compared to other 2016 releases) and combat. its very worth playing. something about new vegas just attracts s.hitters, ig. the elitist population overlaps with the shamelessly rude population.

All the Fallout forums have become a favorite target for bait threads, trolls, and clown farmers. All they have to do is post "Fallout x is better than Fallout y". As someone who plays several Fallout games and follows several of the forums I feel that the FNV playerbase tend to start fewer of these bait threads, but vigorously defend their proverbial turf.

Edit: And the FNV players are really, really tired of it and would really like to just not be bothered with this.
