Cant Launch the Game

Unfortunately, I've been running into some problems running the game. To preface, I have played a significant portion of the game on Epic Games with few problems. However, with some bugs and crashes I thought it would be worth it to play the game on Steam.

While the game works fine on Epic Games, on Steam it is crashing immediately after pressing play on the launcher. On Epic Games I tried the patcher for mods but ran into the same problem after I patched the game. I assumed that this was an error with the patcher, but now I'm not so sure. I have tried many fixes with none working, including:

- Deleting OneDrive and resetting default directories.
- Using compatibility mode on Steam
- Using compatibility mode on FNV
- Using NVSE and NVAC
- Manually adding the .exe to my firewall and ransomware settings
- Disabling mandatory ASLR
- Using VCredist_86x
- Using the DXSetup in the Redist folder
- Finding and installing a DXSetup from a seperate thread
- Using the Fallout 3 Windows 7 and 8 Fix
- Deleting the MyGames .ini
- Resetting my PC and re-downloading multiple times.

There may be other fixes that I have tried, but I've been attempting this for several hours now and have probably forgotten a few. Here is the most recent Windows error report:

P7: c0000005 error = lots of hits if you web search it. even reloading windows.

you have a .dmp file. run windbg and analyze it.

since December, all my game/apps run fine for 2-3 weeks. then I get windows hardware errors caused by nvlddmkm.sys. I use DDU to wipe the driver, clean install the driver, and things work for another 2-3 weeks. rinse/repeat.

another possibility - some setting in your windows account is causing the crash.
create a new local windows account.
logout.
login with the new account.
turn off one drive, controlled folder access, mandatory ASLR, etc
then try the game again

nVidia broke drivers, use DDU and return to 566.36( december 2024, if i remember version correct)
it broken dozens games and apps

Unfortunately, none of these solutions have worked including another dozen that I tried from other c0000005 error solutions. I think I'm just going to refund the game. At a certain point it's just not worth the effort to get it running :/ Thanks for the help!
