Companions refusing to talk to me

So firstly I think I should state that I do play with quite a few mods, however I have never had this issue before and I haven't added any new mods for a while. Whenever I try to talk to Boone or Veronica they both just say it's better if I leave and won't talk to me. I've tired doing a new save but it's still the same problem so I doubt it's to do with my mods.

Edit: I think I’ve fixed the problem now, it must’ve been one of my mods and I’m guessing it had a feature where certain people wouldn’t talk to me if I have a low charisma stat.

When you say you tried doing a new save, did you do it without any mods?

The line sound like what they say when you are trespassing for whatever reason.

I've tried this and they talk to me when I'm running no mods, I'm just unsure of what mod could be causing this now since I haven't installed any recently that would potentially stop them for talking to me and telling me to leave me alone.

My advice would be to disable any mods that add quests or new companions. If none of them are the issue you may have to just start from scratch and only enable a few mods at a time until you find the culprit.

I'll have to try that then, I've never had a problem with this before and it's weird that it's happening now. I'm able to recruit talk to Cass and recruit her just fine, it's just Boone and Veronica that refuse to talk to me so far.
