"green" Geckos
Apparently somewhere in the wasteland there is a gecko greener than the regular green "gecko." Where are they? I want to make gecko skin reinforced armor.

Green Geckos live in the Zion National Park, which is where the Honest Hearts DLC takes place, so that's where you'll find them.
Edit: At least I think so. Not sure about the Gecko Skin-thing, since I barely use the crafting system.

pretty sure you can make some xtream gecko armor with this but don't quote me on that

It takes immense survival skill, but yes, you can 'gecko back' leather armor and metal armor.

Honestly, one of the hardest armors I worked to get. At the end I felt accomplished, but never used it since I was well glued into my power armor.

It`s probably the best light armour though. Like, flat out better than anything else if you aren`t considering special effects.

Metal armor is light armor?

No, but the gecko backed leather armor is. It has 15 DT, 15 rad, poison, and fire resist, and weighs 18 pounds.

It's essentially combat armor, but classed as light, and with some handy resist bonuses.

the security armour from dead money still beats it in stright up DT but that is pretty good
