Help with getting NCR to like me

So I was approached by a group of rangers telling me I have three days to improve my rep with the NCR or they'll make me pay. I was flabbergasted because despite having a 'merciful thug' reputaion with the NCR, I've been doing what seems like exclusively quests that revolve around helping the NCR lately. Anyone know of who I can talk to to pay to make them like me, or in general how I can get my reputation with them up fast?

Killing legion members raises your NCR rep, or you could do some missions at camp golf or camp mccarren

If you visit "Lucky 38" at first time and leave the Building, a Soldier from NCR will you invite for a Quest by "Dennis Crocker". So you'll get your "Neutral" back, permanent.

Else you kill some enemies from NCR like Caesar's Legion.

I made enemies with the Legion a while ago, and re-checking my stats I'm currently neutral with the NCR. I'll try going to the Lucky 38, thanks!

yea when i first got fallout new vegas i killed alot of legion and dis almost all the missions and some for the ncr

Preform the main story after the first main quest mission in New Vegas a one time pardon is given from both sides, hand in NCR ranger tags to that guy at camp Forlone Hope or hand in Legoin ears after starting secret quest the NCR soldier in Camp Forone Hope who offers to boost morale
