Enable Under Just Mods.
Only choice is probably assigning it to the right analog stick.
I don't use it, I need that stick for sprinting. and the D-Pad works for me. I can't think of another way to assign both, all the other buttons configurations are mandatory.

I am shocked how underated these two are, christ I got suprised. I'm using them on my Steam Deck rn. It basically copies a special selection ui from a popular game which is still played today. I wish I could send a picture of the mod but anyways here are both names of the two of them:
- Quick Select - A Zelda BOTW Style Quick Menu
- Quick Select Throwables
Edit: I ended up writing both these mods into my "Essential mods for FNV" xD
