then the only thing you really need is a faked DirectX9 dll to lie to the game and say you have a "real" GPU, which you'll get here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17209?tab=files (it says Fallout 3 and Intel, but it's fine, same engine, and it works for every other Mac user on Parallels so it'll work for you too) extract that into the game folder and fire it up...
I suppose you could use the porting toolkit and go that route, but depends on your technical ability, and I doubt it'll be anywhere near as fast... but it's been done. check the relevant subreddits for macbooks and FNV, accordingly...

As for the laptop, it’s fine. I can enjoy my kingdom rush among other things so I’m ok, but what really sucks is getting that itch to play new Vegas again and can’t. :P
