Crashing (Windows 11)

So far I've tried the compatibility, reinstall (vanilla), NVAC (anti crash), and fire wall. Plus I have Script Extender. Does anyone know how they prevent crashing (black screen)?

strange I have a 4070 laptop with an i7 12 I have never had any problems

check windows event viewer and also windows reliability history.
might be a game crash event.

It mentions Kernelbase.dll error. I don't know if that's a file I'm missing.

check if your antivirus or windows defender antivirus (that is windows antivirus) have removed files from your game.

the error msg usually contains the faulting module name and an exception code.
you can do a web search on both to see various possible fixes.
or post here and wait and hopefully someone has seen the error before and has a suggestion

just do a fresh install and follow the viva new vegas guide - honestly its the best guide around to get a stable game

don't follow those awful guides on youtube that claim you can get new vegas to look like a modern game while maintaining performance - its just not possible

try and keep your game as vanilla friendly as possible, adding mods that enhance the gameplay and visuals as opposed to those that completely overhaul it

NVAC is an obsolete mod. viva new vegas should tell you every essential plugin you need
