Red Exclamation Points only on NCR troopers
A few months ago, I backed up NV and Vortex on my D drive because I needed to reinstall windows. I recently tried to load all my mods back and play again but it seems the meshes are missing only for NCR troopers. Everything else seems to be fine. I'm going to link the video I used to mod this a year ago which includes the list of mods I currently have (vid description). Any help would be appreciated!

looking trough the modlist on their website it has to be caused by either the Fallout Character Overhaul mod or what i think is the more likely cause Armor:NCR Trooper Overhaul and Armor:NCR Trooper overhaul Distributed as those are the only mods that change NCR Trooper Armor meshes that i saw.

Just uninstall those mods 1 after the other and check after each uninstall ingame if the problem consists. reinstall the mods fresh after uninstal once the problem is fixed again go into the game after each mod instalation to make sure everythings in order.

Thanks for the tip, I just tried what you suggested and nothing worked unfortunately.

then the conflict must be somewhere else, have you tried validating the gamefiles through steam yet? might fix the missing mesh.

Yep, I tried that. I think this weekend I'm going to just delete everything and start over lol

1 more thing i can think of is try deleting the meshes for the armor manualy from the games folder under data/meshes/armor/ncr_civillian and retry validating the gamefiles. steam probably doesnt recognize the files as missing and therefore is not fixing them causing the meshes to stay broken.

I tried that earlier and it didn't work. Now all NPC's are exclamation points lol I think I'm better off starting from scratch.
