Old World Blues Crash

Fallout new vegas seems to be working fine up until I try to start old world blues by activating the satalight, I get the EXP for starting it but then fallout crashes. This is not my first time trying to load the dlc, on a privious save file it worked fine and I do not know what could be wrong.

If anyone could tell me what is wrong or how to fix it or link me to a similar thread I would be very happy.

Ok, I checked the wiki for OWB bugs and the only one that has to do with interacting with the satellite is that the game may freeze if you are playing in Hardcore mode. Change it to normal until you get to Big MT.

If you're not playing Hardcore then all I can think of is you may have a mod causing it.

I have no mod but i am playing on hardcore, i will try changeing it
this is also the only difference i can think of between my old save and this new file
