Blade of the east
GUYS,blade of the east is a secret sword of lanius legate of legion,when i go to camp of legate the access after hoover dam is inacessible exept final quest of game. But there is a way to take the sword or no????

If you have the Lonesome Road addon you can get The Blade of the West which is very similar to The Blade of the East.

Only way to get the sword without mods is to kill Lanius at the end of the game or use console commands to give it to yourself.

Odd I picked up 2 blades of the west in lonesome road after barely scratching the surface of it

Blade of the West isn't quite the same as Blade of the East. It looks different and I think the Blade of the East was a bit stronger too.

10 years later. Funny how some of us used to think one of the DLC's would let us continue playing the game after the battle for Hoover Dam. Never happened.
Today I think most people use mods or console commands to get them the blade a little earlier so they can actually use it.
Also in case anyone doesnt know, the one Lanius uses and the one on his body after killing him actually have two different item codes. The blade he uses against you is slightly more powerful.

10 years ago the dlc for new Vegas was done and any development or updates on the game was done for 3 years at that point.

Nobody in 2014 was expecting a dlc for new Vegas at that point.
