Blurred Vision
after leaving an NCR tent everything went instantly blurry. I checked the effects on me and got nothing, and assumed i could get rid of it later. Now it is later and i risk losing all of my progress by loading an earlier save where it isnt blurry. Please help, i cant see 30 feet in front of me.

Are you using any visual/vision mods or mods that affect drugs? Better yet, are you using any mods?

Also, you said that you didn't consume anything. Are you sure?

Are you using any nightvision items? (cat eye), or is your head crippled?

or you are in hardcore mode and you are suffering from food, drink or sleep deprevation

^That's another one. Forgot about the hardcore effects, since I usually eat, sleep and drink at the 100 point mark.

Have you been doing drugs (in-game dude, in-game)?

When the drugs wear off there are often wierd and annoying effects.

Five days is quite awhile but, you do get blurred vision when you have a head injury. Take two stimpacks and call me in the morning. :)
im not on hardcore, and my head is not crippled

You sure you arent just blinded permanently (in game), it happens when you leave some places (like Doc Mitchells house) you get temporary blindness.

Right, I know this thread is ancient but I couldn't find a solution that worked for me anywhere online so after hours of not being able to find a way to remove the blur after I got it from the Cholla caverns in the Russel mod I thought I'd put up the way I fixed it here just in case anyone else is still having the same problem.
First, regardless of when and where you got the blur effect, go to camp guardian peak and enter the caves. At the first light you find your blur should go away. Leaving the caves by either the way you came in or via the underwater exit right after this may fix the problem. However if both of these fail (as it did for me) a surefire way to ensure you keep your clear vision is to teleport out of the caves indoor cell using console commands and therefore bypassing the buggy cave exit. Step by step you press the tilde key to access console commands and then type "coc goodsprings" (don't include the quotation marks in the command) though you could use any location really, not just goodsprings. You should keep your clear vision this way
Hope this helps someone
