What armor do you use?

Hello all,

I would think this would be a simple enough question.

Do you like the mobility of light armor? The all mix of damage protection and speed of medium armor? The ability to act like a walking tank with heavy armor?

And what armor do you use in your prefered class?

Myself, I was using light armor right up until I got my first suit of power armor then went right to that. Shame I didn't take the heavy armor perk, but I didn't have a use for it until right then. Ah well, But with wieght restraints I fell back to the Elite Riot Gear. Nice and high DT, second only to the T54 D power armor.

What about the rest of you?

Simple answer to a simple question is Light Armor only because after level 20 and the perks, SPECIAL I have by then, light armor is the only way for the game to still be a challenge

Playing hardcore mode and using Project Nevada on the hardest settings. I use Legion Veteran Armor. Decent DT, easy to find replacements, and it pisses off the NCR :)

Most of the time I go with Power Armor or in my latest game I spend most of my time with Gecko backed Reinforced Metal Armor. High DT, looked good on my melee character and decent resistances.

I forget some players play in third person. I wear the light armor with a old cowboy hat and usually only see it if I get killed.

I usually use the Advanced Riot Armor from the Lonesome Road DLC, and a Veteran Decantus helmet. Looks cool and protects me pretty well. I never wear armor based upon its stats, I always wear armor based upon what I like. Never had trouble doing that before.

US Army Combat Armour, 'Cause 'Murica. And I like it, with a Beret, and Sniper Rifle, along with a 10mm SMG for good measure

Desert Ranger Combat Armor. I like it better than the riot gear, more simplistic and classic.

Stealth Suit Mk II and Atomic-valence tri-radii-oscillator from The Big Empty (Old World Blues) Add on) and a First Recon Beret, along with the COS Sniper and various rifles.

I usually use one of the AWOP M light armors, like the Rein. Leather Armor M I'm wearing right now that has 16 DT and adds +1 End & Agi.

Almost always light armor, though what type specifically varies according to what character I'm playing. Sometimes I just wear leather the entire game.

Also, 1st Recon beret. Best headgear, accept no substitutes.
