How do I heal back to full health in hardcore mode?

I've been playing in hardcore mode and so far I'm moving it but I need advice on how to heal myself to full health cuz my health is really low

Stimpacks...lots of stimpacks. ( They are not insta heal in Hardcore..they work over time)

Food and water, especially if you pump up your Survival skill. Some very healthy recipes don't require lots of skill or exotic ingredients. Gecko steaks, gecko kebab, bloatfly sliders can all be done pretty easily if you're still early-on in the game.

Also, you might consider cannibalism...
