Can the Alien Space Ship be reached?

If you're playing the Wild Wasteland version, and you cap the aliens to get the blaster, is there any way to actually reach their ship? I've gotten so close I can almost touch it, but it's like there's an invisible force field pushing me away from it.

Wild Wasteland is a trait you can pick in the beginning of the game. It adds of bunch of different easter eggs to the game, one of which is a group of aliens.

I assume you've probably figured this out by now, but just incase you haven't the answer is no, in less you glitch the map of course. Either way aside from the brief alien encounter & the blaster there's nothing els to see.

Yes, in Wild Wasteland the encounter is near the north passage leading tto New Caanan. Too bad about the alien ship.
