plus and minus signs on my stat window

when i bring up my stats in the pip boy and goto the skills page theres + and - signs near them. what do these mean?

That something is boosting (or reducing) that stat from its base value.

next time you eat or drink something, or change your apparel, read what it will do. it's not just rads and hp that is affected.

[Mormacil]

Something might be messing with your basic stats like Endurance, Intelligence or Agility. Those effect your skills by a few points, hence a small minus or plus.

Click on the EFF button on the status panel, it will show you what effects you have on and where they come from.
