flickering screen

whenever I start the game, the screen just flickers. anyone know how to fix it?

Same happens to me with both recent fallouts and skyrim, I believe it's related to a driver update.

Never mind, try setting skyrim's compatibility mode to windows 8. (program files->steam->steamapps->common->skyrim. right click the launcher you are using (might be SKSE) select properties, compatibility and set it to win8. credits for this answer go to ti.mmm.

Can confirm this works with Skyrim Main Menu Flickering too.
