Courier's Stash Help

i Recently restarted a game of fallout:new vegas and unchecked the different packs you are able to get in the courier's stash dlc in data files before starting the game but for some reason when ever i start a new game i am still given all the different packs . is there something i am missing ?

You need to move or delete the .NAM files from your "Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\" folder. All they do is force the game to load the dlc.

CaravanPack.nam
ClassicPack.nam
MercenaryPack.nam
TribalPack.nam

You could also remove the others if you want to untick them in the launcher so you can start them later, but there's not much point, especially for Gun Runner's Arsenal.

HONESTHEARTS.NAM
OLDWORLDBLUES.NAM
LONESOMEROAD.NAM
GUNRUNNERSARSENAL.NAM

okay thanks . If i do this will i be able to reuse the dlc tho later on should i choose too ? or will i need to re download the dlc

You'll never need those nam files again.
All that matters is if the dlc are ticked in the launcher.
