NEED HELP! Render Unto Caesar [Spoilers]
I have been playing a lot of New Vegas lately, and I have done tons and tons of side stuff, and a couple of DLC's, but now I've decided to actually continue on with the story.

I am currently at the quest stage where you need to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel's bunker. But, I really like them, so I looked up the command to skip quest stages. It said that 75 was the quest stage variable for "Tell Caesar that the Brotherhood of Steel threat has been neutralized", but when I tried it (setstage 00129d14 75) nothing happened. However, if I set it to 100 the quest got completed. Does anyone know anything about this? I really don't want to have the Brotherhood hate me.

The only two options for the BoS to survive is playing your own game or siding with Mr. House while telling him the BoS is no thread (only possible by completing all BoS quests). I prefer the first option. I dunno why the hell you even decided to be friendly to the Legion. That way you'll never get the "have all companions" achivement.

I like them the most!

But, as mentioned in the post, I am not looking to do this legit. I only want to "cheat" my way through not having to blow em up.
I guess I'll hard save and do it, so I got a backup if need be.

Mate, it's a game. And yes, I do like them the most. Just straight to the point business.

i believe you can actually convince caesar that he can use the brotherhood to fight the NCR, no need to blow anyone up

That may be a mod though, I cant remember it in vanilla. As to what mod it is, no idea as I always faithfully kill em for Caesar. :)

Incorrect, only if you side with yesman or NCR can you spare the BoS.

Queststage 62 "(Optional) Inform Mr. House that you've negotiated a peaceful solution with the Brotherhood."

Never got into the final game, there however is mods to implement this. In the base game that is simply impossible though.

it's actually an option in the vanilla game, you can convince caesar that the brotherhood can be used to distract the NCR, so during the final battle, they fight the NCR at helios

Incorrect. It was intended to be an option but never got into the final game.
