Messed up Boone's 'One for my Baby' quest

From previous playthroughs I knew that the evidence of Jeannie May Crawford selling Boone's wife is found in the safe behind her desk. But I rushed things to much, because I picked up the 'Bill of Sale' -note BEFORE talking to NoBark. So, now, when I talk to Jeannie May there is no dialogue option to get her to come with me in front of the dinosaur.

I've done a lot of things in between, so starting the part over isn't really an option.

What can I do to correct it?

All help gratefully accepted.

Start over is really the only solution because I've had this prob before.

well you should just be able to talk to boone to start the quest then talk to her to get her to come out. Make sure you start the quest first because you won't get that option of course until you start boones quest. I never talk to no-bark and always just get the bill of sale, talk to boone to start quest, then talk to her to get her outside. Nothing to do with no-bark.

Thing is, I already got the quest. And she won't follow me out there.

You have to talk to her at night, when Boone is on duty.
Best time is, when she's leaving the office to go home to bed. When she's outside of the office you should have the dialog option to go in front of the T-Rex.

Use the command console to reset the quest, then save, quite game, load and continue like nothing happend before

(you can skip the save, quite, load but then you wont be getting any adievments untill you do)

But unless you already brought somone infront of the dino it should work. Is it the right time? It only is possible while Boon is working, so something like 10am till 10pm or something, cant exactly rember wich.

It was the right time, and I confronted her on her way home. But it still didn't work. That is, until I went "hours" later (but still within the timeframe) and woke her from her bed - then, suddenly the dialogue option appeared. And now, as planned, she lies headless in the dirt.

I didn't do that before... I got her to wear the hat before.. but, okay, thanks! must be the complete mod package I have? Or steam,,,, ing pile of sneaky ♥♥♥♥. I know I had her wear the hat in the unmodded game.

Hate people like this that have no idea what they're talking about but pretend they know everything. There's a solution and throwing away all of your progress isn't it buddy.

This worked I didn't even need to reset the quest
