Fallout: The Frontier, stuck on quest
So, im stuck on the "Reign of Terror" quest in the frontier, all it says is to meet Rancor outside the lloyd center. When I try to interact with him, nothing happens. Ive tried restarting, reloading, and doing other quests and coming back. Unfortunately I havent made a solid save since before the ostia quest. Does anyone know how to get past this?

How to fix frontier: Uninstall. Honestly youre best off asking on a forum dedicated to the Mod specifically or maybe the discord if its still up.

fair enough, I was enjoying the mod at the start, it just got worse as it went on. Know if new california is any good?

Never played but heard mixed emotions. Next big DLC sized mod would be Nuevo Mexico which looks great but release date is unknown. I recommend Dust, its mainly gameplay oriented and less story / quest oriented.

Ive played dust, wasnt really my forte. Ive played nv a thousand times over and was just looking for something fallout with a new story. I understand its really hard to make a big mod like these but a lot of them just miss the mark.

How about a different fallout game? I started playing F1 and 2 after about a thousand hours in FNV and i enjoyed both a lot... Story wise... Not gameplay wise... Oh God F1 and F2 Gameplay...

I love the originals and have played 2 and tactics more than fnv. i grew up on all of these games and have even played brotherhood of steel.

I would say New California is pretty decent, its got a lot of player-choice, a large but empty map, and good voice acting for the most part. It does feature many lore-breaking elements, but if you don't mind that, I would definitely recommend trying it out.

played new california. it has alot of stability issues. @nitan explained it well but the voice acting and mostly poorly written dialogue ruined it for me. some of the stuff in the early encounters in the vault sounds like it was written by an edgy teen lol

yeah the best way to fix this is to stop playing the frontier

fair enough, i just reloaded the save to get back to playing it, the whole hallucination section in vault 9 killed it for me, it just kinda felt like i was playing a retro horror and it sucked, but it entirely broke nv after that and i can't even get past the menu screen now

pretty sure that mod's severely outdated too. generally most nv quest mods are no longer supported and outdated. try salt lake stories if you want something akin to the original fallouts, someone recently released dialogue and bugfixes for it
