Can I use Victor's shack as my personal storage house?

In New Vegas, there are too many usable items But I can't carry them all.
In that reason I need storehouse for keep them safely, not disapear after few hour...
I think Victor's shack usable for that but I'm not sure.
Can I use that shack for my storage house? or I have to wait until blow out Jeannie's head at Novac?

All loot is persistent so yes.

Complete Boones quest in Novac and the shopkeeper in the Dinosaur will tell you to move into a room at the hotel where you can store anything safely.
