Cant assign Hotkeys

Hi All,

ive recently bought NV: ultimate edition but for some reason i cant assign anything to the numbers.

I've held down the number - nothing happens
Ive held down the number and clicked a weapon - nothing, tested it too just incase it worked

I had this game on PS3 and hotkeys helped immensly.

Anyone know whats going on?

Hmm, weird, the way to get a weapon in the hotkey is to hold down the number then left click on the weapon. If that's not working something weird is happening. Do you have any mods?

no mods at all, and now the game just randomlt stopped working!!!!
