Console command help?

I encountered a bug that messed up my save files in random locations, not a huge problem in most cases but can suck.

I started a quest called There Stands the Grass a long time ago but now that I intend to complete it, it was wiped from my quest log. when I go in, I start it all over but I get bugged out after conversation not allowing me to move.

I need a console command either to:

1. Move when I am otherwise forced to stay still (because of bugged scripting) or

2. To set my quest to the first stage of that quest, AFTER I have talked to both scientists.


Information on either of these is missing from the wiki. It doesnt tell you how to force walking movement or the quest stage ID's of that particular quest.

I don't think you can go backwards when it comes to quest stages, but you can try. This is all the information I can find. I'm not sure how to move when the game won't allow it.

These IDs and stages are useful for fixing broken quests. Use the console command setstage <quest id> <quest stage id>.

Quest stages

1... Enter Vault 22 and download the research data found there.
2... (Optional) Find Keely, a researcher who has gone missing at Vault 22.
3... Return to Dr. Hildern at Camp McCarran with the research data.
4... Meet Keely at her base of operations on the second level.
5... Find the vents Keely is pumping gas through and somehow ignite the gas.
6... Return to Keely and let her know the spores have been purged.
7... Return to Camp McCarran and tell Dr. Williams that Keely is safe.

This didn't help unfortunately, even the console debugs werent set up for the bugs I'm getting, but I managed to noclip my way past the second scientist so I dont get frozen. Hopefully it doesnt mess me up when I return.

Could just be a error in the game save file.

You will probably have to go back in your saved games and start over from a place where you had it. You'll lose everthing you got from that point on, It's how I got out of the nortrn territory when I went there to soon, I was a real nubbie.

My game forces me to type commands backwards, so instead of help it says pleh, so I have to type pleh :(
