For example, the All-American uses the bloody common 5.56mm cartridges which is so common you can use the normal rounds to make the Match Grade rounds. The scope is also a nice plus but again, it uses the rather average 5.56mm.
The MedStick however uses the huge .45-70 Gov and if you're using the HP variant, the crits will make up for the armour penalty. I personally find the MedStick sights to be decent enough for my needs. Plus the All-American sights wobble when you fire.
Between the All-American and the Medicine Stick, I generally prefer the Medicine Stick for the aesthetics alone, but against low-DT enemies I do believe the All-American deals more damage and uses a widely available and cheap ammo, whereas the Medicine Stick uses one of the very rarest ammos. Oh and 5.56 match is a kick-ass ammo and easy and cheap to make. .45-70 hand-crafted ammo is a lot worse.
