HELP! Rex and Cassidy have disappeared!

So, I finish with Mr. House for Caesar's Legion, then I go to the fort, and my partners, Rex and Cassidy, are still there, so, I enter the fort, and of course, they have to stay behind, so then Caesar tells me to dispose of the Brotherhood of Steel, so then, I go out, and they aren't there.

After that, I go to Primm to get ED-E, but it still says that Rex is in my party, when he's definitely not there.

Is there any way to fix this. Thanks!

You can try going to vault 22 and taking the elevator to the bottom floor. They should appears here if you don't want to use console command.

I know the reference and base ID's but I don't know how to spawn them.

ok open the console command by pressing ~ this button should be under the esc button

then you put player.placeatme 0010d8df 1 this will spawn rex

if that code doesnt work then put the other code provided. do the same with same with cass

oh that sucks hold up ima try to find another and oh have you tried loading an earlier save. same thing happend to me with boone. and if they are still your friends look at your pipboy map and it should show a little triangle icon with there names on it just follow it there and lets hope you find them

I followed exactly to where it said, and it said they were in the middle of a road in the Strip. They still weren't there

ok try using the console tcl and look for them under the map they might be there. Or if not load an earlier save . I always use casm the mod (saves the game for you)

or look in vault 22, van graffs shop, freeside . ok and i resaerched more and they said go to vault 22 and take the elevator to the bottom and then go back up and it summons them try that
but you have to ask em to follow you again

I think I've found the problem, since both of them together is a large size, when I went to go down to disable Mr. House, they probably fell off the walkway, and respawned somewhere else.

It’s been 8 years but the solution for me was that I entered the lucky 38 and my companions were commanded to wait there even after coming out the lucky 38 they won’t automatically start following you again. Hope this helps someone. Btw if you don’t know where you left them there are triangle icons on your pip boy map that show where they are.
