Fallout New Vegas crashes in the launcher since windows 10
Since i upgraded to windows 10 the game crashes while i start it and then in the launcher it searches for a solution. I tried it with combatibility and more. I googled the Problem but couldn't find anything usefull.

Please if anyone can help me with this i would be realy thankfull :)

Have you tired skipping the launcher entirely using the FNV64 bit exe?
Try going to Fallout NV in your Steam Library, right clicking it, hitting "Properties", click "local files", and select "Verify integrity of game cache". Works for me most of the time when I have problems.

I have no trouble (well, very little trouble) running FNV on Windows 10 using FOMM as a launcher.

I'm having a similar issue, my game crashes only if its full screen. If its windowed it works but its nearly unplayable windowed, it doesn't fit the screen at all.

I actually got my game to work, it seemed to be the latest Nvidia drivers, if your using Nvidia try deleting your current drivers and getting the ones from the windows updater.

I don't know if this is the same for AMD but now Fallout 3 and NV are working.

i tried that and it worked perfectly thanks
Always launch Steam by running as admin. This worked for me, pre- and post-Windows 10, hope this helps, my game has never once had trouble on startup (i am using a bunch of mods too) since i started doing this.

I tried alot of stuff and the one thing that worked for me was to delete the d3d9.dll file, then launch from the steam folders without compatibility mode on.
