Radio mod?

I have no idea what i'm doing as far as mods go and was hoping someone could walk me through installing a radio mod.

I like old music but their just isn't a big enough library of songs.

I don't know if any of the mods still let me listen to the news that seems like it may be to much to ask for.

a mod that adds more songs and lets you listen to the news too? hmmm idk about that but you could always try R.A.C.E mod

How do I put it into my game files? Just drag and drop it somewhere?

copy the following files into the "Data" folder of your game directory:
1. R.A.C.E. Station.bsa
2. R.A.C.E. Station.esp
3. folder Sound

check-mark "R.A.C.E. Station.esp" at your Game-Launcher

RACE music lets you add your own songs into the mix so i hooked them up with that

Whoops. Got a bit confused with links and such.
There is both Mojave Music Radio eXpanded, and Mojave Music Radio Extended mods...
I'm using the "eXpanded" mod, http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39270/?

The "extended" mod is a completely different list of songs which I have not tried.
