killing eddie

ok, i was searching the ex-sheriff in the ncr correctional facility and, as an normal person, i killed all powder gangers there, including eddie, but, when i killed him, a message saying that i failed the ''i fought the law'' quest. is this good or bad?

I don't know how to put this in a more polite way, but failing is usually a bad thing.
Unless you didn't want to do that quest.

Yep, no one likes the powdergangers, they're a minor faction and failing their quests doesn't impact anything except their personal ending slides

oh you mean the guy who talks to you when you first try to enter ncrcf. he looks okay actually but i killed him too. he has his reasons to become a powder gangers, like many others. but bad guy is a bad guy. kill them and and be good.

as for the failed quest, bad characters also give you quests, it's your choice to do them. when you kill the guy, it fails automatically ofc.

Hey Zes, you are confusing Dawes with Eddie; the former is the door guard at entrance, the latter is the leader who sits at a desk near a safe.

What I've been doing lately:
1) Neutral: Leave Goodsprings without finishing, or don't kill any gangers (let townies do it).
2) Go to NCRCF, do quests, then kill everyone. Or, kill all but Eddie, do quests, kill him.
Alt: If not playing neutral, use disguise and or Stealth Boy at NCRCF, as needed.

I never actually sympathized with the powder gangers, even if some of them sounded alright i think it's just charisma, powder gangers are known to massacre caravans and civilians, they're no different that vipers or friends

Ah alright. I never talked to anyone inside ncrcf. just that bouncer guy then wiped the whole place. must have missed that guy, otherwise i would have remembered.

you can use the NCR or prim slim reprogrammed
you can finish it then kill eddie afterwards
