The Enclave is boring. Comically evil. Technologically advanced super Villians. Who really have no goals or personality outside of "Kill muties bottom text" and when you really look at it. Even the FO3 enclave is just as terrible and bad as the FO2 enclave. Many people argue that they could he good guys. But the problem is most people miss that field terminal about genetic compliance enforcement orders sent by autumn himself. Who wants to use the purified water as leverage. To draw wastelanders to his faction for genetic testing so that they could exterminate them after having them take a test which a vast vast majority will fail almost gaurenteed.

So we have comically evil- check ✔️

We have 90s comic boon super Villian final boss in the form of Frank Horrigan - check ✔️

"Cool" armor and "Fascist uniform Aesthetics" - check ✔️

Black colors/menacing look check ✔️

And end goal that is basically kill everyone who looks and is slightly genetically different from you -check ✔️

We have them being unjoinable unlike a vast majority of the factions in Fallout(which is an inversion of the Unity from FO1 where you can join them and get a bad ending)


The Enclave in Fallout 2 is one of the few fallout antagonist that you can't talk down/are railroaded into fighting.(the same goes with FO3 however you can at least talk down Autum. Who has much more reason to surrender than Legate Lanius does) I mean Talking down Legate Lanius is really kind of Odd considering how he is super FING hyper uped as this all conquering Bad Ass MF who brutally kills and follows orders and basically butchers people for fun. I mean you couldent talk down frank Horrigan in fallout 2. But you can talk down Lanius who has much of the same personality?

Hey Kraft, If you want to talk about the game, the subreddit for the game is a better place. Discussions about factions and what not still go on there. Steam forum for the game is fairly dead buddy.

Before this gets locked for necro: I think Autumn's Enclave would've been preferable to BoS(Lyon's and Maxson's). Unlike the Brotherhood, they had the tech to not only eradicate the super mutants, but also easily fix the capital wasteland. My biggest complaint with F3 is the lack of a properly fleshed out Enclave route.

So is the Brotherhood, and they don't even make the trains run on time. Worry about how authoritarian they are after there aren't any more building-sized mutants trying to kill everyone, or raiders every 10 feet.

Gold backed currency. Total elimination of raiders and highway banditry. Making a large swathe of the southeast non-reliant on dwindling prewar resources

The Legion territories are so safe that traders do not need bodyguards to make their rounds, according to companions Rose and Raul, and NPCs like Dale Barton.
