Broke Lonesome Road because ED-E disappeared!
So... This started when I fast traveled back to leave Lonesome Road because I didn't have a AM Rifle, when I came back, ED-E was missing but, I just continued until I got to cutscene where ED-E zaps you... Now I'm stuck at that point. Anyway to help me?

EDIT: I still get her perks

ed-e has a couple of pages and a couple things that could be going on

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/ED-E
Icon ps3 Icon pc After upgrading ED-E's weapon system, if it is destroyed, the dialogue and text about losing its perk after its death will not appear at all. You can lose ED-E without noticing its death in battles or if it strays too far from the player by its own way being in [DANGER] mode because of the hostiles around it. A related bug exists where if ED-E is destroyed, its perk still remains in the player's Pip-Boy and still fully working. This can be fixed by using console commands prid <ref_id>; moveto player; disable; resurrect; enable where "ref_id" is set for specific ED-E type. [verified]

Icon pc Icon ps3 Icon xbox360 Asking ED-E to repair your weapon may cause him to stop following you. This is caused by an engine bug relating to script variables in dialogs, as one of the variables used to repair your weapon will overwrite the variable which tracks his waiting/following state. [verified] •Icon pc ED-E can be restored to full functionality by entering the console command set "04004d16".waiting to 0

I ope something helps. if not follow the links and see if something else works. there are other pages as well. in the search bar type ed-e to seee the pages available. good luck.

THIS. After HOURS of searching, and NOT wanting to go through ANOTHER six hours of Lonesome Road, these commands finally worked!

All I did was leave The Divide and it broke ED-E. Thank you Clever Monkey! You are clever!
