release hostages, let Khans go
Knowing full well what the risks are when taking on such a job and knowing full well that killing may be involved.
That is like signing up to be in the Military and saying "I don't want to kill anyone." knowing full well that if self-preservation is something you poses you are going to have to kill someone to maintain your existence.
In my eyes that is making it personal.
Sorry if anyone else sees differently, I am just expressing my morals.
You are contracted by whoever to do a job and you are being paid, hopefully a lot of money, to do this job well and only get the rewards IF you stay alive.
The bitter inside that rots a man's, and women's, heart will only lead to self destruction through a life of misery and self tourment.
Therefore; enacting my own brand of justice, an eye-for-an-eye, would bring great satisfaction knowing I harmed those who have done me and/or my kin wrong.
However. Thinking long term about the actions I impose, at that moment in time, will effect not only my own life but the lives of others around me.
Wars have been waged over such greed and violence, which blossom from revenge.
So to say; "It's nothing personal" is a huge overstatement.
Same, personally , people that sell drugs in my opinion aren't people i want in my idealistic Roman Society. Other than the one guy who wants to join the Followers, they are pretty much killed every playthrough.
Er... well, that was only the first time, I swear. I usually help them break rank with the legion and set them loose. Live and let live, I guess.
