Mod problems PLEASE help!
So I'm using MCM with the bugfix, UIO, Loot Menu, and Ohud (among few others). And normally everything worked fine, but this time I tried Vanila UI+ and it totally messed up my menus and stuff. Can't seem to uninstall it. So I reinstalled (using TTW by the way), modded again without the UI plus, but the game seems to try to force it somehow (menus are messed up, loot menu not working correctly).

Also don't know why on this pc, the game always reverts to an INI where the meshes2.bsa isn't loaded, so I need to edit INI files in my documents. Never experienced this problem before. But yeah, how to completely uninstall VUI+? Or could sth else be the prob?

Use a mod manager. MO2 or FOMM Fork.

Edit: So I found out that UIO is causing problems. As soon as I put the files in, it messes everything up, So I tried installing mods without the UIO, but now loot menu isn't working correctly. But at least menus are normal again.

Nope, thanks but no thanks. Totally unrelated to my problem. How to get completely rid of vanilla ui plus? As soon as I install UIO, it messes my menus. Stupid VUI+. I really don't understand wtf the problem is.

It totally is related to your problem, because you obviously have no clue on what you are doing, as Demonic Meatball stated above, you need to use a Mod Manager to install mods, my guide will show you how to use a mod manager, and UIO is a mod I use, so install instructions for that mod are in there, it also teaches you many helpful things when it comes to modding, to fix your problem, you need to do a proper clean install of the game, outside of your program files directory, and use a Mod Manager to install mods

Ok thanks for another reply, but I'm using TTW, and it takes forever to install everything with my connection. Also I was playing the game without Mod Manager before and it worked with no problems. The less extra stuff I need, the better I think. Also I've been modding BGS-engine games since Morrowind and even made couple mods for that game, so no, I'm no expert, but still know my basics mostly.

Update: Installed and uninstalled DarnUI and it somehow fixed the problem I think. Now when I install UIO, it doesn't mess anything and the only problem left is that loot menu box isn't showing any items even when hovering over filled containers. I put UIO files in data folder last.

Also, Goonz sorry for being a bit rude before. Thanks for the help!

Ok, interestingly enough, I found an older version of JIP Lutana (the one I was using since last year) and now everything works properly!

If you need an older, less functional and more buggy version, the problem isn't fixed.

You really should be using a mod manager, and with a slow connection it makes more sense to have TTW's installer install to a separate folder and make TTW into a mod that you can manage like any other. That lets you fix problems quickly and easily without redownloading anything.

Glad you got it running, but you're just setting yourself up for more problems in future.
