The reason why caravan never really got the fame it should have was because of the wierd hotkeys and the layout presented in game. Ringo's instructions don't really help either. And most yotubers make it seem more difficult than it is. It's just blackjack with a few twists.
Queen can sabotage too. The best way is to put it on your opponent's 10. Because most of the time they put a lower number rather than the same suit. And the Joker, I don' think running many of them in a deck is a good idea, but when it works effectively, you'll be so satisfied. I think the better building of face cards in a deck around 35 cards is 4 kings, 2 jacks, 2 Queens, and 1 Joker. Imagine if your hand is full of faces. Numbers are important too.
Also true, there are many combination to achieve that and wanted others to find their own flawor. Mine is to have a bunch of 7, 8, 9, occassionaly 10 or 6. The 3 makes easy 24p sure its not max points but thats not goal of the game, its to have higher and faster than the other. Havent found all players yet but had most trouble with some who just spam you with Jacks thats when I had to throw in 10s and 6s. King your own 10 and put 6 ontop are fast max points or start with a six and king 8-10 ontop, but there are more ways to have fun so experiment
