third person camera aim
is there any way to keep the camera from switching back to first person when using ironsight button in third person?

no i mean the game goes from third person to first when in third person, how do i stop that WITHOUT having to turn of ironsights

The vanilla game doesn't switch third person to first when you use the aim button. You must have a mod or an odd bug.

Unless you're talking about scoped weapons, which there is no way around as far as I know.

Yeah, the vast majority of the weapons just have an over the shoulder zoom, but all snipers and some of the rifles that have scopes (Like Marksman carbine) have zooms. There are mod weapons out there that have say, a holo sight and over the shoulder aiming, if that's what you're going for.

How are you going to use the iron sights *without* being in 1st person? They work by lining up your eye with the rear and front sights, and the target.

Doing this in 3rd person would have you watching your character bring the gun up to his shoulder and look down the sights but you'd have no way of knowing where he's actually aiming at.
