Controller aiming issues need fix?

ok first off to any and all M+KB Nazis out there STFU and go play WoW where your overly deformed hands are of use.

now for those of us moving from the Xbox360 and ps3 versions of NV who preffer our comfortable and convinient controllers is there a way to make NV's right stick aiming beter for snipeing like it is with Skyrim?

cause right now with NV I have to aim then walk my player to set the proper target line to get a body shot I can't score head shot crits with my Night Vision scoped Varment rifle to save my life yet I use the same gun same gunmods for it on my 360 version i have no aiming issues at all.

more evidence lies with Skyrim same publisher Bethesda and skyrim's engine only had minor tweaks from fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas' Engine to support more quest givers and better dynamic actors with smoother graphics the aiming systems wern't changed so why does one game have console aiming while the other aims like a drunk money on Crack with one arm?

If the only trouble you're having is through aiming, then you're essentially helpless, as the PC version of New Vegas has no aim assist/autoaim. You're better off trying your luck in VATS.

If you really want to have decent aim playing on PC, you'll be better suited with a keyboard and mouse.

I asked nicely for NO M=KB responses man your whole post is USELESS info that i have found in other posts i am aware of the total lack of auto aim and am aware of the Trajectory curving but on a shot that VATS has 0% chances of hitting on my console version I can bullseye that guy in the HEAD by AIMING one notch ABOVE it HEAD and DROPPING the Bullet home with just 15 in guns skill now on the PC version I can do that if I set sesitivity to 0 and take forever to aim THIS is great for sniping but I get killed if something rushes me to withing 10meater then even swaping to melee weapon + standing I now can't turn fast enough to hit the target that just rushed round to my back and VATS will not target there so how do I fight with controls like that?

M+KB NOT an answer cause then most of the buttiond i have to hit with my pinky fingernait which hurts after a while.

I personally have to use VATS when I use a joystick why I went back to the mouse. I did see one of my male friends playing with one of those huge wingman like controlers once and he seemed to do ok shooting without the VATS system. Dont flame me I am just trying to be helpful.

The only solution that I know of to help you with this problem is to use the Project Nevada mod, which includes with it options to manually adjust trajectory curve of bullets (Does not work with laser weapons since they are pure hitscan). I have no idea how effective this mod is at providing a pseduo auto-aim functionality, as I have never used that part of the mod.
