You pray and find comfort knowing they are easier than...other radiated fellas along the lonesome road. And have a lot of stimpacks. Better, double of what you might think is a lot of stimpacks.

1. They afraid FIRE. The "Flare gun" that use flamer fuel, shot at them and they will flee. Then use a sniper to shot them.
2. Made your follower stand in front of you to do the fighting so that the enemies will attack him/her first.
3. Don't walk too fast, search them and attack them from distance.

If you really hate them very much : Prepare lots of flamer fuel, bring a flamer or Heavy incinerator and burn them to hell.

It should tell you what they do the first time you've picked them up.

The Flare Gun will get your through any Tunnelers or Deathclaws, it makes them afraid for 10 seconds which is plenty of time to swap to a different weapons and attack them, and you can always swap back to the Flare Gun if you don't kill them in time. Flash Bangs will also help against Tunnelers. You can just use a really powerful weapon and kill them before they get to you

i tried using flashbangs but they were pretty useless, but using the blade of the west with V.A.T.S is a pretty consistent way of killing them
