Primm Sheriff
At the point where I need to get a new sheriff for Primm, I plan on getting the Luck Shades and need to know if who I pick locks me out of this. My guess is it doesn't matter but, I don't know, any advice would be appreciated.

This quest does not have influence over getting Lucky Shades. Working with Legion does, and this quest does not feature Legion at all.

Awesome, that answers my question. Side note, best sheriff regardless? I know ncr raises prices.

Unfortunately, none of the options is perfect, but I tend to choose Sheriff Myers.

Primm Slim is the best choice, yeee-haw!

NCR raises prices, but the store also tends to have more ammo for sale. Good if you don't use melee or are just otherwise hunting for certain ammo types.
The sheriff from the prison results in a discount on anything you purchase as well as being willing to buy your items for more caps.
The robot just means you don't have to travel very far to complete the quest, but nothing related to the store. But as a upside, the town now has a robot sheriff that likes to say "yeee-haw" a lot.
