Fallout TV Show just dropd and damn it's bad

Maybe it's because i don't like stupid drama shows but OH MY GOD THIS WAS BAD

I could only watch a few minutes of the show before i gave up Fallout is about killing every NPC on the strip because an NCR trooper said "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter" not stupid lady gets marred Fallout is about helping a mad AI put FEV into the water supply of DC while listening to Stars and Stripes forever not whatever ♥♥♥♥ the TV show is about

Anyways that's just my rant about the TV show after hate-watching a few minutes of it
makes me sad. If this is how the TV show is i wonder how bad Fallout 5 will be VARY BAD

Okay so i gave the show a second chance and after the 1st episode it's not that bad. -the lore retcons

The Ghoul IMO was the best part of the show both in the pre and post war. Maximus and Lucy where okay but i didn't like them as much

i hate how they made it so that vault tek started the great war but i guess it still kind of works in the lore that vault tek and the enclave started it

The stuff about the vault 33 overseer nuking shady sands was stupid (like how tf does he even get the nukes) and pre war vault tek lady number 20 leading the NCR remnant was also kind of stupid

As for the enclave showing up in the show it's okay i guess i'm not sure what is even still cannon from FO 1, 2 and NV so maybe the battle of Navarro does not happen or it's ENCLAVE Vault-Research/MacArthur Army Base

Also the masters army not finding Vaults 4, 31, 32 and 33 is stupid

IMO the worst part of the show (other then the first 30 mins of episode 1) was all the retcons

Also in the pre war part where all the higher ups meat Sinclair is for some reasin representing Big MT even though Big MT was ran by the united states gov and Sinclair was buying tech from them and not running the place also REPCON was there too even though by that point in the timeline it was bough out by RobCo so it does not make scene that they where there

overall the show was a 4/10 i would have given it a 6/10 but the retcons to west coast lore brought it down

There are 135 years worth of history between 2142 to 2277 that can relatively remain intact.

NCR founding year is correct, so 88 years worth of history between NCR founding and 2277 can definitely remain intact.

Moldaver also leave a gleaming review of NCR/Shady Sands (it's everything that the Vault Tek claimed to be but real).

However we are shown a relatively empty wasteland. Which is why most people think NCR is wiped out of existence, I think.

Pre-War history isn't really explored in original game (not you Fallout 2). Big MT was a retcon. Enclave was a retcon. I feel it's all just OK as long as it's still fit the theme.

I'm still kind of upset with what they did with the retcons like retconing major plot stuff for 3 of the NV DLCs which was stupid like keep Big MT lore consistent (it also ruins the stuff where Sinclair does not know that Big MT was testing on the Madra if he owned Big MT) also throwing in the Enclave again like almost every fallout game like at lest let them rest for 20 more years before bringing them back

I've seen a lot of people here saying that all of the west coast was nuked which unless they say that in the last 3 mins of the TV show that i didn't watch because i already knew the ending that's just not true

Unless the NCR shows up in the 2nd season they had to have been wiped out we see 3 of the biggest city in the NCR in the show and they are no where they can't be in dayglow because they would have been in the show then so they at the vary least lost of the south mayeb fleeing up to Arroyo, New Reno or Vault City (though that is just speculation) they have to be gone

as far as i can tell (unless i missed it) they don't do that major of retcons to fallout 1 and 2 so now that i think about it i was wrong about them doing major retcons to classic fallout

Saying the show is bad is way too biased against it, for me it was a 3/5 show actually.

They portrayed the NCR badly but still show is okay, its an okay show at least.

If you a hardcore new vegas fan, the show is not for you but if you're just a casual fallout fan, then the show might be enjoyable for you.

Many of the major fallout game items are either explained or shown at some point. The season seemed like an introduction to the world instead of the whole story. Remember this is a new story in the world. First 6 episodes were 2-3/5. Last 2 episodes I thought were pretty good 4/5.

Could be worse...You could be a fan of The Dark Tower series of books and get that GOD AWFUL movie.
