Fallout is no Helldiver 2, the creators has been clear about the intention of the game.
Player interpretation can absolutely be skewered. And I obviously do not care about what TKMantis think about anything, I am not about to parrot whatever he believes to be true.
Some of the fanbase LARP to the faction so hard they didn't understand that the game mocked some of the faction outright. Some aspect of "seriousness" obviously exist, but lightheartedness are there too. Fallout 2 just take the concept and bombard it to the player.
Whether it's the focus or not is not the point, the point is that it's exist as much as the seriousness.
I've play the game since 2000. No need to speak about what is true and what isn't. I can form my own opinion on the matter.
Tim/LeBo never changes since Fo1, they practically creating the same "game" over and over (Arcanum, TOW especially). Just like Chris Avellone practically writing the same story over and over since Fallout 2, PST, KOTOR2 and NV.
Dont worry it wont even notice you not watching.. Kinda like anything you post here.. Also utterly forgettable =)
