Fallout TV Show just dropd and damn it's bad

Maybe it's because i don't like stupid drama shows but OH MY GOD THIS WAS BAD

I could only watch a few minutes of the show before i gave up Fallout is about killing every NPC on the strip because an NCR trooper said "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter" not stupid lady gets marred Fallout is about helping a mad AI put FEV into the water supply of DC while listening to Stars and Stripes forever not whatever ♥♥♥♥ the TV show is about

Anyways that's just my rant about the TV show after hate-watching a few minutes of it
makes me sad. If this is how the TV show is i wonder how bad Fallout 5 will be VARY BAD

Okay so i gave the show a second chance and after the 1st episode it's not that bad. -the lore retcons

The Ghoul IMO was the best part of the show both in the pre and post war. Maximus and Lucy where okay but i didn't like them as much

i hate how they made it so that vault tek started the great war but i guess it still kind of works in the lore that vault tek and the enclave started it

The stuff about the vault 33 overseer nuking shady sands was stupid (like how tf does he even get the nukes) and pre war vault tek lady number 20 leading the NCR remnant was also kind of stupid

As for the enclave showing up in the show it's okay i guess i'm not sure what is even still cannon from FO 1, 2 and NV so maybe the battle of Navarro does not happen or it's ENCLAVE Vault-Research/MacArthur Army Base

Also the masters army not finding Vaults 4, 31, 32 and 33 is stupid

IMO the worst part of the show (other then the first 30 mins of episode 1) was all the retcons

Also in the pre war part where all the higher ups meat Sinclair is for some reasin representing Big MT even though Big MT was ran by the united states gov and Sinclair was buying tech from them and not running the place also REPCON was there too even though by that point in the timeline it was bough out by RobCo so it does not make scene that they where there

overall the show was a 4/10 i would have given it a 6/10 but the retcons to west coast lore brought it down

Yeah I was honestly going into with an open mind but this is just complete garbage.

I just got to the part where this BOS guy started jacking off a tire or something I can't tell wtf it was but it had me laughing.

My favorite part right now is when raiders are attacking and the fat guy tells the caterers to "get that cake out of here!"

Bonus points as "go find you family member" as a plot point yet again.

Yeah i quit before they even left the vault felt like the fallout 3 intro but boring and drawn out if i remember right the FO3 intro was only 5 or 10 min while the first 5 mins of the show is stupid Pre-War stuff i don't care about then 10 more mins of vault

While i'm not going to watch any more of that ♥♥♥♥ i can't wait to see all the ways Fallouts 1,2 and NV hell maybe even 3 and 4 are retcond seeing how bugthesda can't even keep their own lore straight

At lest they made Pre-War LA not look like Boston and the skyscrapers kind of look like the ones from tactics

Well, I got through the first episode and that was enough torture for me. Good luck to anyone who manages to sit through the rest of it.

And f3's intro is just as boring and drawn out, but at least then you could just rush through everything to speed things up. Even if you take your time with NV's intro it's still only 5-10 minutes.

But yeah within 30 seconds they already retconned the Brotherhood, but then again the brotherhood have been retconned since 3

The franchise died after FNV release, nothing else from the IP owner's is good, just straight garbage. Only good things now are some mods here and there

I'd at least watch the second episode before condemning it seeing as the motive of the first episode will largely be to capture a new audience and set the scene - hence all the iconography

You know what? That's fair. But I feel like someone without knowledge on Fallout would be confused. Like what that thing was the girl injected herself with, or why that raider had an inhaler, could he have asthma perhaps? Just trying to think like an outsider would, and I feel like the first episode didn't do a good job. I think it's best to find a balance between explaining things for newcomers and fanservice, but to me it seems like newcomers would just be confused and fans would roll their eyes at all the references

I enjoyed it the first episode. I think it has a lot of bones that could absolutely go somewhere. But to each their own. No one hates on a property like the fans.

I don't speak for every Fallout fan but at lest for me the tone of Fallout has been totally killed somehow a cyclops is in the same universe as the ENCLAVE abducting fathers and mothers of children to work as slaves digging up the vats of FEV in Mariposa

I decided to just skip to the last episode and watch the recap and watch from the top down.
The recap told me enough to just skip the entire show.
The last episode is pretty much the bastardization of the lore I expected from Amazon and Bethesda, nothing less.

Since you guys did not make it to the end.
New Vegas is teased for Season 2
Oh and New Vegas was nuked too for some stupid reason as well as the NCR, Vault City and everything NOT done by Todd, lovingly caress yourself Todd.
That is the end shot of the show, some guy walking ALL THE WAY to New Vegas in power armor watching over a utterly destroyed New Vegas.

All in all, it is Rings of Power all over again.

personally i thought it was pretty good. i liked the focus on the humor, the dark humor has always been one of my favorite parts of fallout. i guess you cant please everyone

Wow just wow i knew something like this would happen but still wow. Didn't MR House still have the defenses up even after the war? if so then that is a huge plot hole

I enjoyed it. Surprised by the lack of a deathclaw, I though for sure it would have 1, that and super mutants.
