The Divide Map?
Played the DLC for the first time and beat it. The world map doesn't make sense, does it? Was it just folded to make room for it on the world map or something?

Yeah, think the world got turned around 180 not long before release. Makes for a dramatic entrance on the cliffs, but not alot of sense in terms of traversing.
I just accepted it for what it is.

Yup

The DLC is basically just 1 long path that curves around once. The Bunker you start in (Bottom Right) leading to Hopeville (Bottom Left) doesnt make sense though.

It should have been 1 really long straight map in my opinion.

It's supposed to be one long map but the engine couldn't work with that, it was either the way it is now, or 3 separate maps which makes fast travel a nightmare

It's not an issue with 'size' but 'objects', right? The Divide is 'dense' whereas the much larger Mojave is 'sparse'?
