Font size
Hello,
I've done a fresh installation of FNV following the Viva New Vegas guide. Everything is fine, except the fonts are too big. Many moons ago I played FNV with the DARN UI mod and that was fine - the fonts were just the right size. But, now, whenever I tried to install any DARN or DARNIFIED mod it just makes things worse - either the fonts become all messed up, overwriting each other, or the fonts become even bigger.
Any ideas for me?
DANNY

Darn is pretty buggy, use MUX Series or something like that. But even then, I'd rather recommend Smooth HUD - Immersive Transitions. It's vanilla, but makes everything contextual, and is much better.

Edit:
Pretty sure that Darn is both unstable *and* abandoned. So...

Thanks for your advice. I've downloaded 'Smooth HUD - Immersive Transitions', which looks pretty good. But I still don't know how to reduce the font size - still, never mind!

I've done the above with the ini file, and the default.ini, but it makes no difference. I'm using Mod Organizer 2 by the way.

Did you make your .ini edits using MO2's .ini editor? It won't recognize changes to the files in your documents folder.
